There is an interesting signature on the movement. I haven't seen one before and cannot find another similar to it. It is the same plate style and regulator as the "Railroad Regulator" watches I have seen sell in the past. It's definitely a compelling watch with an unfamiliar signature on a movement, especially one that shares characteristics with known "Railroad Regulator" watches. These watches, designed for precision, both complex and historically significant.
